How to Remove Date from Blogger URL

In this below guide, you will find the steps needed to remove the date from your blogger blog url.

If your blog/website is a new blog, then it is good to remove the date from your url before publishing posts or contents.

But in a case where your blog is an old blog, I will recommend, you resubmit your sitemap to Google search console after removing the date from your website/blog url.

If you follow carefully the below steps which I am about to share with you, you will be able to remove the date that is showing on your blog url without experiencing any error.

The first step.

It is best you do this using a computer. Now, simply open your web browser, after that, you should login to your blogger blog and select the option: Theme/Template.

Second step

Simply click on Edit HTML , and after that, you will have to make use of your keyboard shortcuts.

On your keyboard, simply press the control key “ctrl” together with the “F” key, it will open a search box.  (for those using Mac, simply press Command key together with “F” key).

Then type </head> and paste the code you will copy below in the next step just above the </head> tag.

Make sure you paste it below the <head> tag and above the </head> tag.

Below you will find a typical example of how the blogger dashboard looks like, and what to do. The boxes in red will direct you correctly.
